Won't be for everyone, but if that sounds like what may resonate with you (pun intended), i think he has a free trial for x days. The progression of Mike's courses (foot speed, hand speed, fills, independence, rudiments, etc beginner, intermediate, etc) with groovescribe metronome exercises to practice to, just has really fit what I needed. The private tutor was super nice, and the in-person correction of basics like grip, body position, etc were invaluable, but I wasn't getting the structure I needed, and granted I could have given that feedback more directly. Seems like an almost pathologically nice guy as well, LOL He's also very practical and logical, which fits my learning style. BTW - no affiliation with his site other than I subscribe to it now, have been on it for about 4 months. For me, this is exactly what I was looking for: a structured online set of courses to build the different elements of drumming. I just want to post here that, after lots of searching, a private teacher, YouTube videos etc, that I gave Mike's lessons a try.
